Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars. Tammy Reception/Scheduling Coordinator I have been working with Dr. Skopek since August 2002 and feel very fortunate to be part of such a great team. I greet our patients, answer the phones, schedule appointments and file insurance. I am married and have three boys, Jason (24), Jeremy (21) and Corey (20), and a dog named Cisco. I enjoy camping, hiking, traveling and spending time with my family. Carla Clinical Coordinator, Osha Coordinator I keep inventory control, help with accounting, love kids, help with the second and third grade field trips and create a smooth running patient flow in the office. I also finish off lab appliances. I have been in the orthodontic field since 1976 and have been with Dr. Skopek since 1997. I have a wonderful husband, Steve and we have two sons, Jim (23) and Steven (16). I also have a granddaughter, Dawn, who is 2. My hobbies include treasurer for Boy Scout Troop #43, neighborhood block captain and attending Elgin Community College to further my education. Janet Treatment Coordinator/Marketing I have had the pleasure of working in the orthodontic/dental profession since 1974 and been very fortunate to join this great team at Skopek Orthodontics in early 2000. I am the one that will assist Dr. Skopek with your first orthodontic evaluation and explain the treatment process and payment plans. I am married and have two great boys, Tim and Nick. I've always lived in this area, and I enjoy hiking, boating, traveling and quilting. Kasia I have become a part of this amazing team in August 2006. I am very grateful to work in such a great environment and to have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. I am one of the people that you will hear on the phone when calling our office and I am also one of the first people to greet you when you come for your appointments. I love animals, and I have a small Chihuahua named Gizmo. I also volunteer for a dog rescue. I love the outdoors. I enjoy traveling, camping, boating, fishing, and taking long trips on the motorcycle. Kristina Currently, I am the most recent addition to the “Skopek Team.” I am the person who will be taking care of you on the day of your appointment along with the doctor. I have worked as a general dental assistant in the past, but now I am learning and growing so much more with Orthodontics, Dr. Skopek, and his team. In my future I am hoping to go to school for Dental Hygiene. I am taking some courses at the college to prepare for the Hygiene program. I have 2 cats Maliea and Jasmine, and I have a wonderful boyfriend, Sean, who I love very much! As of now for fun I enjoy my work and school. Toni I am a clinical assistant and joined the Skopek Team in April 2006 I have been a dental assistant since 1989 and still love being in the dental field. I am originally from St. Louis and have lived in Illinois for 6 years. I am married and have one son, Benjamin who is 8 years old. I enjoy scrapbooking, cardmaking, taking pictures, reading and even fishing and hunting with my family.
